Watling Hope showcase the new Filtershield® food filter system at the Hospitality show.

The innovative Filtershield® food filter protects the drainage system by filtering out food waste from washing up sinks, prep sinks and potato rumblers.

What makes the Filtershield® different is the system's unique design which means that effluent passes through the unit but no liquid is stored within the system itself.

As liquid is not retained in the Filtershield® there are none of the traditional issues associated with sediment traps such as saturated food particles and odours. Recovered food waste is dry and non-odourous and the system is easy to empty by staff.
